Data Deletion
Prank Box · Last updated: 5 September 2026
There is no account to delete. Prank Box has no sign-up and no sign-in, and we run no
server that stores anything about you. Your theme, volume, switches, favourites and recently opened
pranks are written only to your own device.
That means you can delete all of it yourself, right now, without asking us. There is
no request to submit and no waiting period.
Delete everything
Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your system settings, permanently removes every setting,
favourite and cached file it created:
Android
- Settings → Apps → Prank Box → Storage →
Clear storage, or
- press and hold the app icon → Uninstall.
iOS
- Press and hold the app icon → Remove App →
Delete App, or
- Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Prank Box →
Delete App.
Delete part of it, from inside the app
- Favourites: tap the heart on a prank again to take it off the list.
- Recently opened pranks: the list keeps only the last few and each new prank you open
pushes an older one out. There is no separate control for it — clearing the app’s storage
or uninstalling, as above, removes it outright.
- Stop usage sharing: Settings → Data & privacy →
“Share usage data”. Turning it off stops analytics and crash reporting
immediately, and deletes any crash report still queued on your device waiting to be uploaded.
- Advertising: Settings → Ads →
“Ad privacy choices” reopens the consent form where that control is
offered.
Data held by third parties
The app itself sends us nothing, but the Google services it uses hold their own limited records,
described in the Privacy Policy:
- Google AdMob — ad delivery data tied to your device advertising identifier.
Reset or delete that identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads;
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config — screen and event counts,
and crash traces, tied to a random installation identifier that ends for good when you uninstall.
Switching off “Share usage data” stops any new ones. None of it contains anything you typed
or any sensor reading.
- Google Play / Apple App Store — your record of the one-time
“remove ads” purchase, which the store keeps under its own policy.
Requests about data those companies hold should be made to them directly.
