Prank Box — mobile app and website · Last updated: 5 September 2026

The short version. Prank Box is for entertainment only. Every tool and effect in it is a simulation — nothing in the app performs the real-world action it imitates. You are responsible for using it safely and kindly.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By installing or using Prank Box (“the app”), or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and forms part of these terms.

2. Entertainment purposes only

Prank Box is an entertainment app. Every feature in it is a simulation produced with sound effects, on-screen graphics and vibration. Nothing in the app performs the real-world action it imitates.

The app must not be relied upon for any real purpose, and must not be presented to anyone as genuine evidence, a genuine warning, a genuine device, or a genuine measurement of anything.

3. What the app does not do

To be completely clear about the simulations:

It does not place, receive, or end real phone calls, and does not send or receive real text messages. The fake call and fake message screens are ordinary in-app screens that only exist while Prank Box is open.
It does not detect lies. The lie detector result is chosen at random and has no relationship to anything you say, touch, or do.
It does not scan, read, store, or verify fingerprints, and it does not use any biometric hardware on your device.
It does not see through objects, clothing, or skin. The X-ray screen shows a pre-drawn animation, not an image of anything real.
It does not damage, crack, or scratch your screen. The broken-screen effect is a drawing on top of a normal screen and disappears when you leave it.
It does not repel, harm, or attract mosquitoes or any other insect. The mosquito screen simply plays a high-pitched tone.
It does not produce electricity, electric shocks, heat, or any physical force. The shock and taser screens only play a sound and vibrate.
It does not cut, trim, or affect hair in any way.
It does not contact the police, emergency services, or any other authority. The siren is a sound effect only.

4. Your responsibility

You alone are responsible for how, when, and on whom you use these pranks, and for any consequence of doing so. A joke that is funny to you can genuinely harm someone else.

Do not use Prank Box:

On anyone with a heart condition, high blood pressure, anxiety, PTSD, or any other condition that a sudden shock could aggravate.
On anyone with epilepsy or photosensitivity — several pranks flash, strobe, or change the screen abruptly.
On or near anyone who is driving, cycling, operating machinery, working at height, carrying something heavy, or otherwise in a situation where being startled could cause an accident.
On young children, elderly people, people who are asleep or unwell, or anyone who has not consented to being startled.
In places where a loud siren, horn, explosion, or scream would cause alarm or disruption — hospitals, schools, aircraft, public transport, places of worship, or anywhere near emergency services.
To harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, defraud, or deceive anyone, or in any way that breaks the law where you are.
At a volume that could damage hearing, especially close to someone’s ear or through headphones.

5. Health and safety

Loud sounds, flashing light and sustained vibration. Some pranks produce loud sounds, flashing visuals, sustained vibration, and deliberately frightening images. Stop using the app immediately if you or anyone nearby feels dizzy, disoriented, or unwell.

Your device. Several pranks encourage movement, and we are not responsible for a phone that is dropped, thrown, or damaged while a prank is running.

6. Privacy

Prank Box asks you for no personal information. It does send anonymous usage statistics and crash reports through Google Firebase, which you can switch off at any time in Settings → Data & privacy, and it shows adverts supplied by Google AdMob. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent, what choices you have about advertising, and what is stored locally on your device.

7. Ads and the ad-free purchase

The app is free and funded by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. We do not control which ads appear and are not responsible for advertisers’ content, products or websites. Ad availability is not guaranteed: if no ad is available, an ad-free window earned by watching a video may be temporarily unavailable.

You may choose to watch a video to hide ads for a while. Nothing about that is automatic, and the app behaves identically either way.
Ads can be removed permanently with a one-time purchase, charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
Restore purchases in Settings asks the store whether your account already owns it, after a reinstall or a change of phone.
Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy, not by us.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its interface, and its sound effects are provided for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not resell, redistribute, decompile, or repackage the app or extract its assets for use in another product.

Fonts and sounds bundled with the app remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their own licences; those licences are listed inside the app on the About screen.

9. No warranty

Prank Box is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.

Nothing here excludes rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any injury, fright, distress, property damage, loss, dispute, or other harm arising from the use or misuse of the app by you or by anyone else. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions apply only as far as the law allows.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the app develops. The current version is always the one shown inside the app and on this page, and is dated at the top of this document. Continuing to use Prank Box after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of Vietnam have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings, or requires a different law to apply, in which case that applies to you.
